This year's annual meeting will include:
Begin with networking over coffee and bagels
Updates on the state of the organization and programs
Screening of this year's Script to Screen contest-winning short film
Guest Speaker: award-winning Hollywood producer Judith James
Pitch Contest:
Five (5) SWW members will be chosen to pitch Judith after her talk
To be considered, submit a typed one page (not longer) narrative pitch for a feature length film (oral version 3 - 5 minutes).
Speaker Bio:
Judith James is an Emmy-winning producer and has produced 11 award-winning plays. In partnership with actor Richard Dreyfuss, her film credits include an executive producer of QUIZ SHOW, a producer of MR. HOLLAND’S OPUS, producer of TRIGGER HAPPY, and movies for HBO, TNT, ABC and CBS. In addition, she has served as consulting producer on many of Mr. Dreyfuss’ films. Her next film, THE FOREST, has been completed and awaits release.
