SCRIPTNIGHT : THE BOOK OF SHIN by Michael Maupin
“Just as high-schooler Jason Bock plans another summer of sleeping in and avoiding his parents, he and his snail-collecting buddy Peter Schinner are drawn into inventing a new religion – leading them both to dangerous and unexpected consequences.” describes Michael Maupin’s adaption of the 2004 National Book Award winner for Young People’s Literature, “Godless” by Pete Hautman.
The Screenwriters’ Workshop is proud to announce the return of their public reading series, ScriptNight, with a staged reading of screenwriter and IFP-MN instructor Michael Maupin’s adaptation of Pete Hautman’s award-winning book. The reading was made possible through a special arrangement between the Screenwriters’ Workshop, Maupin, Hautman and his agent.
