The 2013 Screen Writers’ Workshop (SWW) Feature Script Contest Winner, Karen Frank, will have a public reading of Degenerate on Monday, October 21st, 7:00pm in room T4040 at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
The event begins with a Social Hour at 6pm that includes food and beverages for SWW members, MCTC Cinema Division students, cast, family and friends.
Degenerateis a dramatic film that follows an aging German painter and his quest for saving his art. The reading will include a professional cast of ten Twin Cities actors directed by Bill Cooper (www.billcooper.info).
Following the reading, there will a screening of the short film, Patience written by Tim McGovern and directed by Ryan Franzman. This 10 minute film won the 2013 Script to Screen Competition.
This free event is part of the Twin Cities Film Fest (www.twincitiesfilmfest.org) and is open to the public.
