After three rounds of entries between November and January, the winner of the 2016 Script to Screen short script contest has been chosen.
The winner is:

Logline: When the battle over earth is won by the Light, a convicted criminal on death row is rescued by a Healing Team for reassignment to another planet.
The winner receives a $2,000 production prize package and will be filmed over the Summer in cooperation with Minneapolis Community & Technical College Cinema Division. The resulting short 10-minute film will be screened in the Fall at the Twin Cities Film Festival. The winner is then free to enter the short film into other film festivals and contests as they may choose.
