Screenwriters Workshop’s 2nd Tuesday Reading Series continues this Tuesday, January 13, 2008, at 7pm, with a feature-length drama by Lee Vang, entitled “Hmong!” Here’s the logline: Based on a true story, “Hmong!” is an epic tale of two young lovers in Laos caught up in the CIA’s most ghastly secret war.

Due to Veteran’s Day, November’s 2nd Tuesday reading will instead take place November 18 (the third Tuesday), 2008, at 7pm. This months edition of the 2nd Tuesday Reading Series spotlights a feature-length drama by screenwriter Cheryl Kaye, entitled “Vagina Radio.” Here’s a logline:
A naïve farm girl’s dreams of travel are thwarted when she is tricked into a long-term contract at an insanely dysfunctional radio station.
